Welcome to HearU. By creating an account or using this application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before use.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HearU you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

HearU is an AI-powered voice-note application that transcribes spoken audio into tasks, calendar events, and reminders. The App is offered through subscription plans with different monthly usage limits.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. You may not share your account or allow others to access the App on your behalf. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

HearU is a subscription service billed monthly through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. If you cancel, you retain full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. No partial-period refunds are issued. Prices may change with 30 days notice. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App lawfully and in good faith. You may not reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the App, use automated tools to access or scrape its content, transmit harmful or infringing material, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls.

6. Audio Data & Transcription

Audio recordings are transmitted to our servers for processing. Transcriptions are generated using third-party AI services. We do not permanently retain raw audio after transcription is complete. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including text, graphics, logos, and code, is the property of HearU or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of the content you create, such as your notes, tasks, and reminders.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided as-is without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, nor that transcriptions will always be perfectly accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HearU and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or prior notice. Upon termination your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which HearU operates.
